My hunting is this Friday and Saturday. Looks like we get a break in the rain for those two days but it will be a sloppy mess lol will be fun though I’m dialed in and ready to go!

It has been a great season so far for me. Lots of birds called in, some misses, miscues and unfortunate events have spoiled some seriously nice birds for us. I killed my biggest bird on May 3rd. 11.25” beard, 1.25” spurs and 24 pounds. This coming week I will be out with my bow and hopefully get us some points on the board! Good luck to those still hunting. [IMG]

I wimped out and took out my gun this morning in the rain. Was able to get a bird to gobble in the hardwoods about 150 yards away. Sat down as fast as I could. Had him 15 yards away in less than a minute. It’s crazy how fast it can happen sometimes. He’s a two year old bird with 3/4” spurs but a nice 10.5” beard. I am tagged out here in NY but may take a weekend trip to either PA or OH.

Well I guess everyone's season is done right? Congrats to all those who put down birds regardless of the method used. Great season and hope to do it again next year!
