Thought I would start a season topic, the Twins are undefeated with a strong opening day starter and bullpen performance. I just want to say that it is stupid to schedule a March game at an outdoor stadium in Minnesota, today worked out but the weekend will suck.

    Go Cubs.

Javy needs to keep killing it, Darvish needs to stay healthy and pitch well, and the team needs to hit consistently down the stretch. If all of those things happen they can win the division again. However, the Brewers are no joke. Gonna be a tough year.

Twins on pace to go 162-0. I'll take it.

Red Sox on pace to go 0-162. But this team was fun to watch last year, I'm sure they'll continue with that.

Go Mariners, Jays and Cubs. I will sporadically follow until the All-Star break. I don't really start paying attention until after that. Hockey playoffs are about to start.

I will admit I am a little concerned about the Twins the new manager tell guys to get sleep do not show up early to work out, don't show up at the park too early before the game, seems a little soft to me but I will not argue if the results are good.

Players managers have success for a little bit and then it wears off and they lose the locker room

The Twins starting pitchers over 2 games have 21 strike outs, who knew this was possible?

Mariners are off to the best start in years at 6-1 with 11 homers so far. If the bullpen can step it up, there may be a legit shot at the division for the first time in years. The Jay and Cubs are off to a slow start, but it is early.

The AL better pay attention to the Mariners 10-2 with 32 HRs so far. This is awesome!

So I texted my son we are going to don the cold weather gear and go to the Twins game tomorrow. The high temp will be 48 degrees it will be like a Lambeau game.

What a day at the ball park, we missed the first inning to watch Tiger win then we talked to the scalpers, the upper deck was closed so we bought two ticket for $30 and sat in the front row of the right field deck, we had to move to stay in the sun but it was a great day at the ball park. My only complaint is could not find onions to put on my hot dog.
