I do have to mock viking fans this morning, yesterday Barr was gone and radio and newspaper reporters as well as fans were all saying it was good to lose him because he was not with the money, he didn't show up to play every game etc, then Barr changed his mind and now they are all saying how great it was to be able to keep a key part of their defense. Tom was right when he said what an idiot Speilman is.

It's a ton of money for a player who has never had 5 sacks in a season and is labeled as a specialty pass rushing LB. We could have used that money for an O lineman, but I can't argue with the signing. I've never had a problem with Barr.

OBJ to Browns... Bell to Jets... So many big time moves already.

I will say that the Browns look great on paper. They just can't "Browns" this year.

Packers made some great moves. They will be tough to beat this year.

Possibly, but they are still the Browns.

I think people may be done laughing at the Browns. The Packers I am in wait and see mode, they still need a quality WR and I would have cut Jimmy.

At least you can do some late season hunting without worrying about missing any Steelers playoff games

I don't know why everyone is on the Steelers are finoshed bandwagon. If they lost Ben, sure I could agree with that. Bell was a major distraction last season due to the team thinking he was coming back. Losing him isn't as bad as Brown and evn losing Brown isn't the end all be all.

Everyone forgets that when Ben took over for Maddox and started his first game in Miami(during a tropical storm) he changed the Steelers from that point on. He didn't have a Brown and Bell, he had Randle El, Holmes, Burress, Parker, Mendenhall and Bettis who has been by far his best running back. Most went elsewhere and aside from Burress in NY none of them were team changing factors.

I would love to see them pick up another Bettis/Morris RB than a flash and dazzle WR as they were better as a run first control the clock team. They have become too strike pass happy, taking a couple point lead leaving way too much time to opponents.

Ben is going to be just as motivated this year to prove he is a winning quarterback and can win despite who his teammates are.

Brown by far got the best of it, more money and no extension, plus the Raiders are going to be quick to rebuild having him and 3 first round picks.

Yet, everyone thinks OBJ is the Browns answer

Steelers win the division and atleast one playoff game.

Honestly Tom it was relief to see that Missing was the highest paid before that deal, still pissed Missing is making as much as he does.

    This should help the Browns.....

"The NFL announced Friday that Cleveland Brownsrunning back Kareem Hunt has been suspended eight games for violating the league's personal conduct policy, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport noted the Browns were expecting a suspension between eight and 10 games when they signed Hunt, and he added that Hunt did not appeal his suspension."

I don’t get it at all. They cut Remmers, which I don’t disagree with but you did nothing to help your O line in free agency and now you have no money left. Ricks going completely delusional because he seems to think he has a better O line coach now so that apparently will solve everything.

If Rick lets go of Barr and Griffin and trades either Rhodes or Waynes he doesn't lose as much on defense but they could have improved a bunch on offense. He is a ****ty GM and has no balls. He does whatever Zimmer tells him.

What in the wide world of sports is Rick and the vikings doing about the O line? Kind of a sad joke at this point.

Mike Zimmer stating that Xavier Rhodes hasn’t played well and needs to play up to his contract. I see future drama on that team. Rhodes probably won’t like to hear those comments.

It’s refreshing to me to hear those type of comments coming from a head coach.
