As discussed, a few guys are unsure if there will be a contest this year. So I started this thread to get a make-shift one going just for fun. Same rules as usual, I will post below. Sign up like normal, copying and pasting and adding your name. I know a lot of guys seasons start very soon so I will give this sign up a week and close it on 3/25 before drawing teams. If an admin decides to start am official contest then everyone can jump ship and join that one. Thanks guys. Rules: This is an ARCHERY ONLY contest, no guns allowed! All entries will be scored using the NWTF scoring system. NWTF Scoring Sheet Each hunter gets one bird to be used for their team score. Although, in multiple bird states, the hunter shall be allowed to enter their largest of their first TWO birds for the contest. Only bow kills will be accepted. The hunter must provide a picture of the full turkey, hunter and bow all in the same frame. No exceptions will be taken. If you aren't able to score your quarry for whatever reason, identify if your bird as a Hen, Bearded Hen, Jake, or Tom, and you can use this table if you're unable to score: Bearded Hens 15 points; Jakes 20 points; and Gobblers 30 points. Hunters must abide by their states specific turkey hunting regulations in order to enter a bird in this contest. This event is purely for fun so there is no reason whatsoever to have any legal issues. If you can tag more than one bird or hunt multiple states you can opt to entered biggest bird. you can post any bird in score card but if your holding wait to post score. you can post any bird you kill in score card but only the one you score will count toward contest. Contest runs through first week end in June!

I am going to close sign up this evening as some states are beginning their seasons. The defending team 1 had ten members last year, I will contact Benni to make sure all 10 are active and wanting to participate this year. If so, it looks like it will be two teams competing (defending champs vs. others). If half or so members from that team are in then we will run 3 teams. Thanks!
