See no guns in Australia. You just get impaled by full metal jackets with field points. They should at least outlaw inserts and put a restriction on arrow weight.
We have plenty of GUNS here in Australia, in fact many more than when we were forced to have the buy back, way back in 1996, we also have many more licenced firearm owners now than before. We just cannot have semi autos, pump action or full autos. We do not have a second amendment like you do in the US, nothing in the constitution that is firearm friendly, We can blame you Yanks for that (LOL), as when you had your little stoush with the British in the war of independence, well after you fellas won that, the POMS here in Australia were scared that the same would happen over here, so they then banned most firearms and when Australia finally became a self governing nation back in 1900/01 there was nothing put into the constitution regarding freedom to own firearms, so we are stuck with the system we have now.
Anyway back to the arrow business, it happened in NIMBIN in NSW, well nimbin is a renowned hippie drug capital, so maybe a non payment for hooch, who knows, anyway lucky it was only a target/field arrow point and not a broadhead

I once saw a guy stop a bullet with his own skull. It was pretty awesome. Guy shot him in the head at such an angle that the bullet hit his skull, travelled in a semicircular angle on top of his skull, then exited off the top of his head without any other damage than his scalp being torn up. I pay little, if any, attention to the "news" as it appears in the media. Once they get past the point of saying such and such event occurred, it all becomes spin. It is no longer about the events or the people effected, its about how to spin it into political ideology and society change. When the it reaches that point, I stop paying attention. The actual news is usually just a couple of minutes of any broadcast, the remainder just becomes spin. I don't need anyone from any political ideology telling me how to interpret what happened or how I should react to it. I have a brain, I will figure it out for myself. Too many people get their panties in a wad because they give too much attention and credence to the talking heads on the idiot box.
