What's your go to, can't leave the house without, absolute favorite pocket knife? And why? Pics if ya got em
Buck 375 during the week to work. I carry it because its small and I can carry it in dress pants pocket easily. On the weekends I usually carry a larger knife, but I almost never leave home without a knife in my pocket. I have had to donate several to airports because I always forget to leave them at home when we take off on trips.
I carry a gerber not a spendy one either I have lost a few over the years. I do have a ritual before I leave for the airport I put my knife on the nightstand. When I get home from a trip I kiss the wife, pet the dogs, and go get my knife off the night stand.
I carry a Browning mini lock back when working or out in a casual setting. For day to day outdoor chores and the like I carry a Uncle Henry folder.
I tried that once. But, your wife slapped the **** out of me and your dog bit me before I could take the knife.
old timer, carried small pocket knife since I was 12 years old carry it every day you would not believe how many times it is used, by me, family and friends, I am the go to guy when a knife is needed.
I carry a standard Swiss Army knife that my grandfather gave me when I turned 12. I have had that thing for almost 24 years. It will be a sad day if I ever lose it or break it. It is one of the few material possessions I own that about which I am sentimental.
The other day when it was cold as hell and windy and I was filling up the windshield washing tank I was sure glad I had my knife so I could punch a few holes in the jug to expedite the transfer.
I've got a knife with me every single day. On duty I carry a benchmade tactical triage and off duty it's either my benchmade mini griptillian or a spyderco lil native. I also have a full size leatherman multitool in my bag or car at all times Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
I use a Guidesman from Menards. Cheap but a lifetime replacement directly from Menards which is nice.
I carry a Buck Vantage and have for a few years now. Great size, holds an edge and fits in my pocket nicely. I have a couple Benchmade knives that are better quality with a nicer blade, however, their pocket clip sucks and it's a PITA to get them in and out. For that reason, they stay at home most days.
I carry a benchmade griptilian on a day to day basis usually, waiting on this one to crap out so I can justify a 940 but it keeps going. I also have a benchmade contego if I'm feeling particularly tacticool on that day
New fav. Zero tolerance 350. Much more comfortable carry than my guardian tactical. Also rum and Sprite. Good times. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I don't usually carry one on me, I hate the feel of a pocket knife in my pocket...weight there just bugs me. However I do generally have one not too far away from me at all times. I always keep one in my truck and several around the house, shop, etc. When I need one I will usually look up my Buck Stockman 3 blade woodgrain handle. Of all the knives I own, if I'm going to carry one in my pocket, it's that one. It's slim and slides in and out of my pocket easily and I like the different blades for different things. My second choice is my Leatherman Charge TTi, I love that thing. It's the one multi-tool I've actually found the saw to be handy, I've use that thing for everything from sawing PVC pipe to trimming shooting lanes.
