He was a night traveler on our properties. He got lucky enough to get him at last light at 90 yards. He was heading for my property so he would of never made it to my stand with light. I have three videos of him and might have more since I have not touched my cams for four weeks.

Was some great times for sure. Woulda been great to have made the three peat. Always wish I coulda contributed more but kinda feels better it wasn’t any one deer that was gonna make the final difference.

Well, for the 4th year in a row DNR is sharp shooting a big timber by me. I went out shed hunting today and did not kick up 1 deer in 2 1/2 hours of walking. I found a ground blind with the sign on it and a bait pile. This drive me crazy. I understand they have to keep an eye on CWD but let the hunters take the deer.

Yeah welcome to our world from years ago of how they screwed that up and ended up destroying the head and has taken 10+ yrs to bring it back. Their reasoning is completely stupid. they say CWD comes from deer sharing saliva from eating same places, by shooting the deer it supposed to eliminate that from happening. But then they say the prions, which cause CWD, live in the soil and can't be destroyed. So the prions sit there waiting in the dirt till the next deer (10yrs) later come along and it starts all over again. Crock of ****. Not saying it doesn't exist but they should look West where it started and what they did. Which is nothing. CWD has made its way across the US since the 60s.

Flying out Wed AM for Turks & Caicos with the family. Can't wait. Hoping the snow storm coming in Tuesday afternoon doesn't mess things up. We are driving out to the airport Tues PM as our flight leaves Hartford, CT at 6am Wed morning.

Just booked a bow hunt in Ohio for next November with a group of guys at Wolfcreek Whitetails of Ohio. Should be fun.

I'm going to drop an extra $300 for an Oklahoma archery tag. Also looking into buying 35 acres in Oklahoma to build a retirement home on. Still have 10-12 years to work. Don't be jealous, but still have until the end of the month to hunt here in Arkansas. Probably won't kill a big doe but if I see a fawn this time of year it may be in trouble.

One of these years hoping to get away from home for some hunts. Few buddies have done hogs and turkeys, I’d love to try either of those. Sometime in future hopefully Alaska plans but too many bills yet. Most likely this year get a buddy out with his new bobcat and do some improvement around here

Just got back from family vacation in Turks & Caicos. Absolutely amazing. Probably the most beautiful ocean I have ever seen. I saw 2 baracuda while snorkeling which was cool.
I booked a 5.5 day bow hunt in Southeast Ohio at Wolf Creek Whitetails of Ohio in Mid November.

Hey guys, well we gave it a pretty good run for the 3 peat came up a little short though! Its been a fun 3 years hunting with you guys. We might not have gotten the 3 peat at least we still have our scoring record!

I'm still planning on hunting SD, my buddy and I have been discussing a AZ Mulie hunt in Dec or early Jan too.

My son has been saying he wants to go elk hunting. So I've been talking with my dad about us 3 going he usually goes somewhere every year. He has application in for WY but said he would tag along if we wanted to do OTC some where and just help us out.

How’s everyone been? Crazy here. Just got back from vacation. Jumped off the boat snorkeling and blew my ear drum out. Then it got infected. On hardcore anti biotics now. Can’t hear anything out if right ear at all. Says it can take a few months. Ugh

Looked like vaca was a blast. Granted tough to not enjoy that kinda place. Sorry to hear about the ear. Hope it gets better for you faster than expected. We decided and committed finally this week to a shorter family trip in a couple months. Doing 5 days to florida. Hit some good time for it and should be about as reasonable for cost as can do. Some time at Legoland, one day for Disney, and some beach time. Kids are so pumped for all of that stuff and at age where it’s still magical and believable for them so wanted to do it and made it work. I’m also not a fan of long vacations and even this is about as long as I can do before homesick. Kinda due for us since besides our honeymoon in ‘12 our only getaway was getting to the bowhunting.com shoot in I think ‘14, and a 3 day Wisconsin dells. Looking forward to some sun and beach after this cold snowy winter.
Hope everyone else has been well. Feels like forever since hunting. Should be checking with taxidermists on euros when I remember
