Mating and thinking are often confused over a 5 minute period of time.

My middle son is Sept 12 and my youngest is Sept 18. Now, I can only hunt elk and be home by the 11th, or wait, and leave on the 19th. Oh well, kids are awesome.

Amazon is coming to northern va and Google is upping its workforce in the same area. The traffic is going to be even worse. Not even sure how that can happen.

No way I could put myself through a daily grind of traffic. It takes me four minutes to drive to my office and I get a little punchy if I have to wait for more than one car at a stop sign. We don't even have a traffic light in our county.

Yes COL in the immediate vicinity would've risen, but NYC has decent mass transit. 25000 jobs also would've brought huge income & tax revenues.

I understand both sides as well.

Oh well. VA and TN will likely benefit instead.

Metro line expansion or commuter train... to about WV is what's needed.

The good bit is, a lot of these jobs are based out of those areas, but have lots of folks traveling out of those hubs or allow for remote work.

My line from the house to the septic tank is frozen/clogged I am going frozen. In a hurry to get this right because I have to go to Prince Rupert BC Sunday. It is just south of Alaska, oh freaking joy.

You are definitely going the wrong time of year. In the summer it is gorgeous and the salmon fishing is awesome.

So I have heard. Winter flight options are limited I land and have to drive 7 hours to get there after flying all day. Trying to get in and out because I have a Florida, carolinas, boston trip all in a week and a half.

That absolutely sucks, we had our drain field freeze in 2014 & 2017...... hopefully it’s only your line. The septic guy might be your best friend right now unfortunately

Glad I found this. Man in the current political situation I could let loose for ever,so let's not.
This said though, I am beyond ticked off with the educational/school system. They have giant "Rocky mountain oysters" these days. When our kids went to preschool many many years ago. A parent would get up at midnight, grab a sleeping bag , lawn chair, drink and head out to stand in line until 9a.m. When registration opened. First come first serve with a check in hand. Let me tell you there were a whole lot of people sleeping in lawn chairs out there!
Our grand son just went in for his preschool interview. This is in the local school system not private as ours was. They get Fed. And State funding. So there is an interview which is actually common for kindergarten no biggy. BUT because it's funded they REQUIRE a ONCE a month HOME visit. Not only that, you have to give them your tax return and they place the kids according to the family income. WTH!!

Oh hell no I know it is between the tank and the house and I do have slow drainage I am balancing the hot water in the bathroom with the drainage in the mud room. Running hot water thru the line should open it up if not to the rental place for a roto rooter just have to snow blow a path to the tank lid.
