Well went out to pull my sets out, a camera that was up since 10/23 and look for some sheds. Ended up finding the buck I chased all 2017. His remains were 70 yards from my stand. Here’s before and after

Pretty good scouting day today. Think i am going to focus on this 5k acre spot over the 10k acre state forest. A lot less foot access and deeper blocks of timber. A lot more predictable hunter access.

Also love finding big white oaks...this one is about 5 feet wide.

Sweated my tail off scouting today. Maybe picked up one stand sight. Creek cross into a bedding area. The rest of the day was spent eliminating ground. Very surprised I didn't pick up sign on the transition lines. Did find some beautiful water flowing. Made my day.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

looks like this one is the brother or son of the dead head you found? Same wonky side and basic form.

Feeder is on the other side of the farm. Although, I may put one over in that corner. Just over that berm and down a little the ground is prepped for spring planting. I plan on putting in chicory, alfalfa, clover and a sunn hemp screen to close it all in.

Check out the persimmons in the berm.

They're awesome, taste just like a beef hot dog.

The chilli leaves a little to be desired. It is a beanless chilli, but they grind the meat so fine it makes the texture off putting. It's nearly gritty in a sense, won't be relying on someone else to make chilli how I like it again. My own fault, but they have the best deer bacon, hot dogs and snack sticks around, though I'd give it a chance.

I'm a bit pissed off right now.

Thawed out some hot dogs for the work week ahead and thought they looked a bit "pale".

Went back a few years on facebook and found the last time I had hot dogs made.

Looks like the forgot the "red" meat.

First double shed I've ever found. If this is a 2 yr old or even a 3 yr old I'll be excited to see him next year.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

That left side is interesting. Looks like it could get some palmated junk going on, would be cool to atleast see what it becomes this year.
