I scout for sheds like I do deer, well before the season starts. Spot light fields, run cameras, corn piles to help inventory deer, cant find them if they aren't living there. Late season food sources next to winter thermal cover is key. Check food, then bedding, and everywhere in between. Get yourself a good pair of hiking boots, binoculars that are easy on the eyes, and plenty of snacks and water, keep after em and you will start finding plenty

Found this 5 point side this past winter, and was my biggest to date at 69 3/8... Scored it 5 times trying to see if I missed something that would make it 70+ lol. Northern Wisconsin buck to boot!

While dragging my buck out of the woods a couple weeks ago in the pitch black I basically tripped over this shed. Hard to find a shed laying this long with zero chew marks on it. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Figured would bring this thread back since it's bout that time.

Found this set 2 days ago while out checking cams. First match set I've actually ever found together. Have few other matched up but either found them seperate or someone else did. They were laying within a foot of each other in wheat field we got on the farm. Now that snow is melted off plan on getting out alot more. [IMG]

I wouldn't have any reservations thinking that they are a set. Bases and brows look identical.

My money would be that it's a match.

Yeah I have found sheds to different bucks laying right beside each other before but there was no question about yours. Here are the most recent ones I found and the only thing I could think is that they were either sparring and knocked them off or jumping over a little drainage knocked them off

There is no doubt those are from different bucks from the size of the bases but i have a picture of a 5x1 that would look just like that 20190205_155651.jpeg
