Anyone bring their toddlers with shed hunting? I had a carrier last year for my little guy but he's outgrown that so we're looking for a different one. He's 19 months old so can walk no problem but not in the terrain where we shed hunt. He's about 3' tall and 32#. There's a million options when I googled it but figured i'd see if anyone here has any advice on one.
Not very easily I doubt. I've got a few mellow spots we'll just let him walk but i'd like him to go as much as possible and some of the terrain is really hilly.
Thoroughly disappointed. I expected this thread to be about how to use a toddler carrier to carry a boat load of sheds
We have an Osprey child carrier. We borrowed a friends for some hikes in the mountains and when we got home I went on Craigslist and found one. They aren't cheap but they are worth it! My son loves it and always wants to go for a "ride". I am looking forward to shed season now as I will be able to get out more since I can take him along.
I'll check them out, thanks! That's the exact reason I want to find a good one. I want my wife to be able to come with more again like before we had him and if he can come along, we don't have to worry about a babysitter all the time.
I needed one on this day last year. Had 3 days like that....i love Iowa Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Very nice! 7 is my best day but I'm guessing those 7 added up inch wise to one of yours! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
There may be a product like this out there, but lets just say you develop some sort of harness to hook up to your toddler, that hooks up to a wagon, that helps carry a boat load of sheds. Patent Pending.
I just throw them on my shoulders when they get tired. I used to have a child backpack but then it broke. The boy is now big enough to walk for the shed season. Sent from my Z971 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I’m using an older Kelty backpack carrier and it’s great. Just mke sure they don’t get whacked in the eye by a branch. Lots of the places I shed hunt are pretty thick and not great for this.
