Merry Christmas guys!! Hope everyone had a wonderful time with family and got to maybe enjoy a few days off !
Well I have two more weekends to get it done with a bow. I didn't go last weekend due to the 70 degree temps and SE winds which are bad for a lot of my stands. The weather this weekend looks miserable, but I will be at the lease TRYING. .... may end up gun hunting if the weather is just miserable the whole time. The bow will be in tow though... wish me luck guys.
Well, I killed a big late season doe for 50pts! Got her with my CB at 25yrds. Good pass through, with her only going 30yrds. Watched her drop. The hour and a half drag out was a SOB!!!! I posted two pics in the Contest Scorecard.
Am I the last person hunting for our group?? This will be my last weekend to get it done with a bow. .... say it isn't so! I hate when the season ends.
If the warm temps keep up I may hit the bow stand yet again on a reduction property with my bow...we shall see.
Well I have given it my all gentlemen. I'm done. I'm sorry I could not contribute. This is the worst s season I've ever had. I did manage to take this fox last night at 30 yards though. First one with a bow! Had a great time with you guys.
I know we only have a few days left in the contest, but I never did see or get the info from the guys that made kills earlier in the year? It's not to late to submit the entries. Nice being on the team with you. You contributed a lot, and that always makes it more fun. That's a pretty fox you killed, have you considered getting it mounted?
