Looks like my vacation has been canceled. I am an "excepted" government employee and required to be at work. I am thankful that I'm off for the next three days however. Put out a bag of corn this afternoon and will be hunting over at least the next two days. Should be able to have an opportunity to at least take a doe. Hopefully Congress can come to some kind of an agreement in the next few days and there's still a chance I can take vacation the week after Christmas. I'm not really optimistic. well OT came around. I might get a chance to get out tomorrow afternoon if not working OT or it'll be thur afternoon. weather looks good this week. the days at least will be getting a little longer now.
The DAWG will be back in the tree in the AM. The only problem is that the neighbor texted me and he will be out also. We both will be on the same side of creek. Hope the deer go around him. LOL
Hunted this morning and saw three does on the neighbor's property. Too far away and I don't have permission to hunt it. Tried to coax them closer with a soft grunt. No luck.
