Nope, can't say that I have...and can't imagine why I would even try, lol.

These little cyber shots and tripods are dirt cheap now day's...I would let this little set go for $20 if you're interested.

my problem is not that you have a flip phone. My problem is that you're using it as an excuse. You can afford a computer you can afford internet otherwise you wouldn't be on this website correct? I'm sure Can afford a $50 camera. Or maybe you have a friend who can come take a picture. I would imagine you'd want these pictures to have the great memories of your hunts. And if all that fails. I guess this contest is just not for you.

As for my picture. You're clearly not following along. Everyone on here knows I raise my own deer and wait for them to die of old age. Then just snap a pic for the competition. Lol

That's why they all look alike.

I've said before I would not mind seeing the 2 pic w/ bow rule changing to 2 pics @ least one of which is with bow; but until then it's the rule and should be abided.

I would also not be counting inches for anyone. But would make sure that points were counted correctly (no G4s on an 8 point, etc) and that the score "looked about right" based on the pics. I would never presume to tell someone they were 2" over or whatever. Not worth my time to argue and while I can usually get w/in 5" by looking; sometimes pics don't do a deer justice.

Like that "Lovehunt" guy in the contest this year. Great deer; some said it was not anywhere near the score but I disagree.

What I do not disagree with is his DQ based on lack of the 2 pics w/ weapon rule. Posted like 37 additional pics, but it's a shame not one of them had his bow alongside him or in hand.

EDIT- I just went back and checked again....he also lost out on a doe due to lack of proper pics. So that't like 220 points his team gets docked.

Considering the fact that you are the guy that threw a tantrum about needing to post up pictures to follow long standing rules, I will assume that these participation trophies may be slightly used. ?

Yeah, team captains would not be scoring deer. Just reciewing that all scorables are accounted for and nothing is there thst should not.

I do that anyway, and not only for my team. I messaged @mike4christ on his last doe entry as he forgot team number and time of kill. Per the rules that entry wouldn't count due to the time of kill not being submitted.

Since you mentioned lovehunt, I seen in his team thread he mentioned shooting another buck with his boq during muzzleloader season and getting the correct pictures. Per the rules that would also be disallowed as it has to be the first buck.

Unless he can get the proper pics with the rack, submit them along with the others lacking criteria, and see if Brad will accept them he has given up his buck entry. He can shoot another doe and resubmit that one, just nit the antlered entry.

    Seems pretty simple to me...
Contest was here before I came along. I joined the contest it didn’t join me. If I don’t like it, then I move along.

anyone else confused as hell on this one? I imagine there is a story posted somewhere but I am not going to spend the time to find it.
Are the pics with the weapon post-self butchering? or did coyotes somehow get it later?
I'm OK with it counting as it meets the criteria. Just because in some of them it doesn't have skin it is still easy to see it's the same deer and he does have 2 post-recovery pics with his weapon.

Looks to me like he did the gutless method on it and then remembered he needed the pictures with the bow. If you look over his right knee, it looks like the guts are all there inside the ribs and not removed. In my experience, coyotes would have made a mess of that.

yes I have tons of them. I'm predicting a big drop in contest entries next year. I'm questioning it myself. or maybe it's this thread that's annoying? starting to follow the path of AT

Before you send out those trophies, correct your score sheet. You only get spread credit for the INSIDE measurement, not greatest spread. You only lose a couple inches, .............too soon?
