I agree! People join get the quota they need and you never hear from them again.
I love the saddle takes a little getting used to but once you have confidence in your equipment there nothing like it. I really enjoy hanging out.
Haven’t got out much lately but I’m going to do more from next week til the end of the year.
    How’s everyone else doing?

Is it more comfortable than a stand seat?

I am definatly intrigued by it, do you feel its easier to find a comfortable shooting position with the connection ropes to the harness being in front of your body? Hopefully this is our week here in MA, Bob. Shotguns are out of the woods, I had 3 deer in the front yard when my girlfriend went home the other night. Saturday after work I am setting up across the street from my house where I think a few of these deer are being pushed into

No issues shooting from the saddle. Once you get used to it you can shoot 360* and you can hide behind your tree. There’s no big platform sticking out, it’s fun. If you are intrigued with it check out saddlehunter.com its an awesome site. I’m rutjr on the site. Check it out. There’s a Massachusetts get together in April so people can try it first hand from guys with experience.

How’s everyone doing? I’m going to have some time off for the holidays so it will be mixed bow and muzzle loader hunting. One property I have permission to hunt is bow only. We’ll see how it goes.

We are headed to Colorado for Christmas tomorrow. After that I’ll be back to Bow hunt for a few weeks before it closes.

Merry Christmas everyone. I was going to get out some this week since i'm off work and ended up pulling a muscle in my back on friday so i'm out of commission. I'm hoping to feel better by this friday to get out for a three day hunt. Season ends the 6th here so I've got 2 more weeks to make it happen.

Hope everyone had a good Xmas, mine was good till about 9 am lol when my son and I came down with a stomach bug my daughter got from school. My 4 yr old son got a bow from Santa and is tickled to death.
Did some tuning today and happy with results so far. Noticing the 125 GR are shooting with the 100gr, figures there would be a bigger difference at 40 yrds

No need to apologize Katt72. Pretty ****ty callout in my opinion. Not everyone sits on their computer all day waiting to respond to online forum posts whether you are 20 posts in or 1,500. I've won this 2 times, been a member since 2011 and in addition to working 2 jobs being a godly man, raising a wife, and serving as a husband I haven't had time to make posts on here. Ohh and not to mention I've been grinding still hunting and scouting! I too was called out. haha.

Anyway, final post to the group. Congrats to all those who found success this year and good luck to those still giving it a go. I hope you have many great memories made in the great outdoors. I was going to get out 1 more time, however, decided to make December 23th my final hunt of the season. This hunt brought 42 deer and 11 bucks. I got out 1 morning and 5 nights in December. Each night I could have shot multiple does and bucks. I was seeing between 25-45 deer per sit (am bedding and pm food plot/standing beans). Took the venison needed with gun so no need to kill more does given numbers/ratio where we want them on our farms. As for bucks I saw 15+ different bucks in December. A few 4 year olds still showing up on camera, but all nocturnal now/no sightings while hunting and scouting. Encountered a few 125-135 class 2/3 year olds within bow rang, but given known range, history, and limited days of season I left the bow handing on the bow hook. Vertix here I come. Until next year!

Sorry you feel that way, I’m pretty sure all of us on here have buisy lifestyles and family to take care of but some still manage to participate and encourage our teammates on. This sign up for teams is just that. You signed up to be a part of something. It wasn’t a draft. Congrats on your previous victory’s , not sure how relevant it is. Most of us don’t sign up for this to not have any involvement. ( it’s a online forum for purposes of communication.) With all that aside I’m happy you made some harvests and sounds like you had a entertaining season, wish we could of shared the experience with you and celebrated.

Hey Happy New Year team! Our last day up here was 12/31, I got out for an afternoon sit after work but aside from some field mice it was dead out there. Congrats to everyone who took animals and good luck if your seasons are still on!
