Get the tip of your index finger to the corner of your mouth, some even touch their eye tooth with it to gain a consistent anchor point. When I started shooting about 60 years ago, I was more comfortable with my middle finger at the tip of my mouth. Still use it. NASP teaches the index finger to the corner of the mouth or touch your tooth. Used to call them canines or bicuspids but now they are numbered. Any dentists out there??? Interesting how Olympic archers touch the string to their nose. Search for 2016 Olympics and see. IMHO, consistency is what one needs for accurate shots.
