If I'm not mistaken you should have 4 H measurements regardless of the points. Looks like you have only 3 on the score sheet.

I can’t find any language on that. Do you have any rules? I’m going to keep looking

ETA: I found it. I need to add the 4th measurement

    Fixed it!

Missed a good chance today. Had this ten come in perfect and my filming got in the way. He came in to 30 yards. I had the camera on an wide opening and he stepped out broadside. But I didn’t get drawn before he hit the gap and he looked my way. So I had to wait for him to pass by the tree. Screwed with the camera again and he saw me.

Very frustrating to get my first chance at a shooter buck and not even get drawn back. But I learned a lot today. Main lesson is to never let that camera make me miss out on a good deer again!

Great story and fantastic pictures! Love the trophy photo too. You need to submit it to the [email protected] You may just be a winner. Still can't get over the G1's! I spent some time in south/central OK in the mid 90's during my Army years although I didn't hunt then. Wish I had that to do over again. Would really do things different.

Couldn't agree more. I'm not nearly to the point in my hunting career where filming would take precedence over harvesting the buck. Never filmed a deer harvest but have been successful with turkey. Two things have helped with filming turkey hunts. 1: I'm in a spot where the majority of the time I can see them coming from a reasonable distance. Gives me time to hit the record button and still get the bow ready. 2: I don't zoom in and set the camera where they should come through. If they go through the right spot, double bonus with a kill on camera. If they don't, at least I still get the bird.

But best of luck in the future with filming! I'm still learning a lot with it too.

Guys, we're not terribly far out of this thing. We could be sprung to 2nd with just 4 more doe kills

huntem steady, ridgerrunner, and silverflicker all have bucks but no does. A 2nd buck would also count for 50pts.

Picked up some stomach virus Monday morning with all the pleasantries that brings and have barely moved till this afternoon except to the bathroom. Lol. Gonna hunt a lot as soon as I'm better tho.
