No we have not, exporting crude was banned in 1973 until recently when the ban was repealed.

Sure not arguing that at all but there is massive energy usage and a large carbon footprint. People do not consider in impact.

I pulled 16,000 tons of crude oil south just yesterday...headed to the gulf for export. We alone, sheep roughly 48,000 tons a week for export. And no telling what's move through other outlets.

If folks need this Hansel and Gretel crap to find their way through the woods, why can't they remove them when they leave??? These were left behind by someone who obviously doesn't know these woods. It looked like hell! Rant over.

Drives me nuts. Folks use survey tape down here, or night eyes, florescent tape or reflective rope even...I harvest a good bit each year.

Buy a damn GPS or get an app for your phone people!

I hunt a few public parcels in MI (one in particular being a cedar swamp) that are so festooned with various reflective markers that it is impossible to follow any of them and if you try you can become hopelessly lost. Hopelessly. I nearly spent the night in said swamp the first time I ever hunted it because of them. This was before smart phones and signal was (still is) crap in there anyway. I was lucky enough to get a signal just long enough to text my cousin to start honking his horn every 15 mins from the road to get and keep my bearings. Took me almost 2 hours to get out and I was less than a half mile from the road.

I have a growing disdain for corporate America. Required training for implicit bias...bias triggers, micro aggressessions, gender identity...whatever, but if you can't do the work, get out.

Just to prove my evil Anglo bias laden heritage we get to take a test from Harvard researchers. At the start, they define categories of images and you need to sort them according to the categories defined....if you get the group's writing it indicates an error. If you get them right, you're biased.

WTH?! In my humble highly biased opinion, this kind of screwed up self justifying social drivel will be pure downfall.

Fine I'm old and apparently highly biased...

Ok ok, I've chilled on the entire crossbow stuff. I hate but just ignore the gun bucks on here but now Running Deer with dogs and then taking pop shots with a shotgun....This is a bowhunters forum and that $hit is closer to target practice then it is hunting.

When I get home I will, I have to measure it I am guessing he will be around 60". I may have to go in for a brain scan I pretty much gave my son and nephew the run of the place next fall to come shoot what ever makes them happy.

You get those hips replaced and I think you might have a change of heart. You will be running around like a spring chicken and wanting to spend time in the stand will return.

I would have to agree with Germ for once, Hillary would have led us to double digit losses by now.
