So I skimmed through, i love the idea since I was one of the original G2G attendees back in the day. My question: Where are you guys doing this? I’m somewhat familiar with some of the areas around Beverly, Wolf Run. Big Muskie Bucket. Killed my first shotgun deer down there years and years ago and have also turkey hunted down there. Never heard of that area. Idk how they actually decide on where for sure or how lol I’m just waiting at this point to see. I’m new to the forum this year so wasn’t sure how the decisions worked. Definitely sounds cool though. I never have anyone that wants to hunt public land with me most of them just don’t realize how good it can really be with scouting. anyone down to scout the weekend of President's Day (Feb 15-18.) I get that Monday off and would make the 8+ hour one way trips less painless.
Yeah that shouldn’t be a problem. Will be nice to scout when hopefully there is still some snow and we can more easily follow trails and locate bedding.

I might be able to head down that weekend to depends on work schedule. It's only a few hours from me so not far.

thanks, Ridge! are we back to KY again, or SE OH? Or just camping in an area near the border where we could hunt either/both? Either way I am going to have to pass on the proposed shed/scouting trip on February 16. I have wayyy too much going on trying to sell this pile of bricks. By no means does this impact the actual hunting weekend, though. That's on the calendar in ink.
