Thanks for asking. My wife is officially 6 days overdue. We will be going to the doc today for a check up. As for hunting i have not been out recently. I did pass on a 130” 8 point earlier in the season. I will for sure shoot a doe by the end of the season and i have put a lot of work into my late season hunting. I have some decent bucks on cam and plan to hunt hard later in the season.

Thanks Everyone! I planned for this in advance and have some high hopes for late season. I am by no means done hunting yet.

Fixing to head out and see can shoot a doe. Got a couple days off to mess with one, big temp drop, with a large front moving in....should be a good day. Be my first set since I shot my buck in Oct.

    Good luck!

My plan is to be back out Friday, I say plan because I have been home sick from work the past 2 days and work could try to flex their muscle on me this weekend.

    Yes, sorry about that.

Went out last night and snow flurries had covered up the blood. It's been in the high 20's-low 30's, so letting her set was no big deal. Went back in this afternoon and found her.

    Awesome, congrats!

You still considering going after another buck out of state?

Here he is...he's not as good as I thought. Still not bad for a TN public land buck though...

    Who all is still hunting?

Working this weekend but I have 2 5 day weekends coming up after that and will be getting back out.

I completely blew it this year. I have hunted 4 times the entire season all because I assumed.

I assumed due to the trail cams and new ground blind the others were hunting a lot. I was wrong, was probably the least hunted year this property has seen in a decade or more.

Hindsight is always an ass kicker.
