I hope coyotes get to it and eat the whole thing, including the horns, proving conventional wisdom wrong

Congrats Dan! You are 100% right. What’s the point of exhausting ourselves and freezing our butts off if we’re not having fun and enjoying the experiences we’re blessed to have in the woods!

Well just shot my first public land deer! Nice looking doe, didn't see he go down. Going to wait a little bit.

Shot looked good, entered about last rib and seem to hit off side shoulder. Had another doe pop out of other side marsh at same time. So had deer on both side of me. Tough getting a shot, just hope I didn't rush it.

I am starting to wonder if these winds are going to calm down. Brrr! Still loving it though, beats being at work.

Actually I haven't found him. Letting my son find him so it's a surprise for all of us.

Ughhhhh. Forgot my release. Looks like I’m shooting fingers tonight boys. Will this greatly affect arrow flight?

It could depending on how it rolls off your finger vs being pinched in the loop. How much is all dependent on the shooter.

Have you practiced at all like that?
