    Starting to get a little more optimistic for Thanksgiving weekend. I have yet to get a holiday deer on the ground.

    Looks like the cold weather is sticking around for another 15 days or so. Only problem is rain.

    Figure lower 40's and a lot of for ice I should be able to let one lay in the truck for 15-20 hours.

    Headed home to coach my son’s basketball practice. Short of killing, I had three encounters. Unfortunately, I missed a doe about 30 minutes before my cutoff time. Equipment failure and I am pissed. I will post a full story later. Ended seeing 8 deer and having two opportunities to draw.

    I’m good bro, thanks! Today had been the least draining day of the rut so far. Not stressing about where to sit, just sitting in one spot all day, relaxing and enjoying the privilege of being out here. I had zero expectations coming into today’s hunt! It’s all good! Just wish I brought my thermos! Lol

    Dead calm here in Ohio. No deer yet. I’m set up about 100 yds from where I spotted a shooter last night on my way out. 1.5 hours to go! Good luck guys!
