This has been my worst sit of my vacation. Have not seen a deer close or in my binos. Have set on two different travel corridors on this property today and will be moving for a third time around 2 if movement doesn’t change.

Had high hopes for today but so far not panning out.

All could change in an instant.

Reviewed camera pull one decent buck out of 704 deer pictures of which 90% were at night.

Taking a break in the truck for a while, I think it’s colder in the truck then it is outside.
I really want to start it up and crank the heat but I’m parked in the middle of the property.
You can’t educate the deer, God firbid you bother the deer, oh my God you might bump a deer off the property!
So I’ll sit here and take a nap while I freeze my balls off like an idiot

Wanted to share this since I'm comfortable with you people and there ain't much killin goin down.

Farted in my bib coveralls earlier and kinda forgot about it till I shrugged my shoulders against the wind and got a big snout full of it. Farts crack me up and the more they stink the funnier, so I laughed, laugh made me cough, cough made me fart again. I was in a cycle of bafoonery 20 feet up a tree covered in snow.

    Good times.

    Carry on.

Alright dnoodles, I ended up purchasing 2 pairs of each of your mentioned socks (cold weather and extreme cold weather) and also 2 pairs of the basspro redhead thermal sock liners (not sure if they will help or if I will use them). Lastly, I ordered a pair of 9mm felted/wool Lacrosse boot insoles that I will place into my boots for mid-late season. I am excited to try it all out! I will let you know what I think. Thanks again and happy hunting!!

Haven’t seen anything for an hour. Getting really sleepy. Might have to move. I don’t want to wake up dangling by my lifeline.

Seen a spike this morning. After seeing nothing I moved my stand to a different thicket where there is a break in the fencing. After I set up I heard a buck thrashing crap. Now I'm waiting to see if he comes out. I'm really getting aggressive seeing it's our last day.

Just had three does go by at 35 yards. Too many trees in the way for a shot. Looking for a buck that bumped them?

I almost killed a giant 6 Point. I needed him to take one more step from behind a tree. He saw me draw and spooked. 130” inches at least. Would have been my best with a bow. Had him at 8 yards. I watched him walking the river bank 50 yards away. Couple of grunts he was at 8 yards before I could put the call in my pocket.
