When I sat the other day and when I went to climb up the rope and knot were pretty much frozen, there was no ice visible but the rope had got wet in the rain snow mix. I didn't have any issues but I was wondering would the knot still work if I fell?
That's a tough decision, don't know I would trust it. But the best thing to do is test it from the ground. Push the pursic knot up as high as you can reach and hang in your harness and see if it slips. Also bounce some to see if you can get it to move Sent from my SM-G900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
^What Holt said^ My Lone Wolf setup and life line have been on a tree for a couple years unused (just haven’t made time to get it, shame on me). When I do get it I’ve got replacement straps & a new life line because I think the weather and tree rats have compromised the integrity of those items and my A$$ is worth changing them.
This happens a lot during late season - I usually just give it a massage with my hands and maybe blow on it a bit and she loosens right up.
