    Congrats to all who killed today! Horrible service from the stand today and being new to this wanted to make sure and update, had a great day videoing for my son. We saw 9 does in all none acted like anything was going on. Did not see any antlers and about 5:20 my boy was getting an itchy trigger finger and let the last doe have it.

    So glad I went out for that hour and a half. Had 2 does come running by me and I never heard them until it was too late, would’ve gladly killed one of them.
    Saw a nice buck dogging three does in the field, too far for a good look. Then I grunted in a basket rack eight pointer from way out there, but I let em walk.
    Good stuff!

    Ok u don't haveta beg, I'll come down and take care of them ha.



    Didn't end up seeing anything rest or night. Good to sit in blind tho and figure out what needs fixed or changed. Have few ideas. Will to be back at it tomorrow. Grabbed card out of cam on way out. And just my luck nice 10 pointer was cruising by and heading toward other stand the 28th at 5 pm. Idk if made it by that cam or stand have been seeing good activity but was heading that way at least. As for me I was sitting at home that night binge watching a show on tv. What a idiot ha.

    Nothing to speak of deer wise tonight.

    However!! My luck may have actually turned around. I (more than likely but not absolutely positive) just picked up 120 prime wooded acres surrounded on all sides by no-hunting allowed Forrest preserve land.

    Talked to a buddy that lives close to there and there were apparently some 180s and 190s pulled out of there a could years back. Could be absolutely primo.

    I really, really hope this one works out. I’ll be there investigating tomorrow morning.

    Hunt it tomorrow. Take your best guess and just set a stand...don't tromp all over it this time of year...save that for spring turkey season.
