Well the 4 does I was watching came to 51 yards before a small buck came charging in and running them off. So exciting and frustrating at the same time. I’m heading out of town so no hunting for a week or so. Good luck everyone and kill some damn deer!

No clue lol, I don't know crap on astronomy. On clear mornings while getting dressed I always look up for Orion.

Then I put my 3 knives in their pockets, put on my Steelers watch, plop in an Atomic Bomb, fold my boonie up for the walk in.......

I know Bowhunter’s like him... if he has the tags and he is eating them, what’s the problem?

Well that’s it for tonight. Saw a small buck and a couple of does about 300 yds out but that was it. First time to sit in my new millinium stand though and I gotta say, it’s more comfy than I expected. Hope to be back out tomorrow morning before work.

Yesterday and today could not have been better days weather wise, just beautiful hunting days. Except the gnats were so bad both days that I had to wear my head net! There was no way to sit with these critters without one. They were ungodly!!!! But, I saw no less than 11 deer today! A small 6pt, 4pt, and a half 4pt. Several mature doe, which was nice, and a bunch of yearlings. It was nice just to see activity, and to listen to the half rack grunting while he checked out the other deer. It made it sound like the rut!

The action didn't start until about 1:00PM, when a mature doe and a yearling came from the thicket to browse. The mom bedded 35yrds from me, and laid there for an hour. I had my cell phone ready to video her when she got up, but I dropped it to the ground from 20ft up, she didn't spook which I was thankful for. I didn't want to spook the area. Then around 4:00PM deer were coming out of the woodwork. That's when I saw the bucks, and several of the does. I haven't seen this kind of activity in this area in a while.
Towards dark I had a mature doe broadside at 20yrds that I could easily have killed, but again, I didn't want to disrupt the area with all of the activity. This is where my target buck has been hanging, and these doe will be good to have in the area.

I was wondering if a doe is with it's offspring right now, does that mean they weren't serviced yet? Either way, I think the best action is yet to come for this spot! I just had great day in the deer woods today! I'm thankful.

Just seems unethical to me to just lay 3 deer down in 1 minute 2 being under a year old.

    Alright, Van!!!!!!! Pics!!!!

My nephew Adam and I had a cool afternoon .... First we walked the land across the street from my house and kicked up a buck as we as got some awesome intel for a new hunting spot ... It is really interesting over there...

So then we hunted together on the ground behind my house in the brush behind a huge dead tree and could have ***** slapped a button buck and knife killed his sister they got so close

    Just a great afternoon....

    Brett... you suck ...
