Here's a better shot guys. Didn't get one with my bow in it unfortunately. I'll pull the head out of the freezer to get it legal and put the tape to him. It's been a long couple days. Bucks are chasing here in northern Mo![IMG][IMG] 20181105_092832.jpeg

Yup that first pic didn't do him any justice! What a great buck! Did you get a chance to score him?

Well since I lost 2 arrows yesterday I was only down to 1... so I went to my local shop and of course they don’t sell my Easton bowfires anymore.. so I get the Beman whiteouts because they were the closest in size.. shot them maybe 20 times tonight in the dark with a flashlight on the target and Had to mess with my sight a little bit but I’m good to go. Anyone use Bemans arrows? My first time getting them

I never used Beman before, but most arrows now a days are pretty good.

Yeah I was just second guessing everything because nothing like changing your set up 2 days before your rutcation lol

I understand that! I don't like changing things mid season either, but it's happened to me before. Just shoot them as much as you can and gain confidence in them, and your good to go. As long as spec are close, you should be good. You may need to tune alittle if spine is different.

Here ya go guys... I'll get him entered. That beats my previous best of 155 6/8. Guess I better hit the taxidermist. [IMG]

Well I just had the best and worst 30 minutes! Ran to check camera before work. I'm looking for this big 10 pt that I know is in the area. I finally got day light pics of him this week! As I'm walking out I see 3 trucks down the road. They are in there tracking a buck a guy shot the night before. He said it was a really nice buck and about 20" wide. Pretty sure I know what buck it is! The one I finally got pics of! So looks like I have no good bucks to chase in there. I just hope they find it, not looking good so far.

That’s a bummer if it is the buck your after. Did you talk to the guys? Did it sound like a bad shot? Poor hit? Hopefully another nice buck will move in. Never know this time of year

Not many bucks in there this year, but I did shoot my buck in there last year and I never saw him til the first week on November. So there is hope. I do know the guys, and they are supposed to send me a pic if they find it. Sounds like 1 lung and guts, so it's a dead deer, just if they can find it. Very thick place and they weren't to far from the property line. I hope they do find it. Also to see if it is the same deer.
