    Wind is really swirling and gusting to like 25mph. I'm heading to a different spot out of the weather. Hopefully the deer will be thinking the same.

    try the super thin turkey-style gloves. Primos and a bunch of others make them. They're cheap, like 6/pair. Will air dry just from wearing them.

    What do u guys think about a spot like this? This or the ridge top from yesterday? I’ve never hunted here. Look good or bad?

    I wouldnt hunt the top of the ridge, but 2/3 of the way up (military crest) with the wind in my face, and on the side the sun hits. That way a cruising buck gets the wind coming over the top of the hill, and can catch the rising thermals. Sit facing the hill obviously.

    I'd find thick cover with security cover attached and hunt down wind. Just me. I'm simple and stupid.
