I know the scorecard hasn’t been updated but a 140-150” class buck will out is around 528-538” which i believe would be 1st place, at least top 3.

I’m not gonna count our eggs before they hatch but we have a serious shot at winning this thing boys!

Got into some real thick stuff. Still bleeding good. He is circling, paths crossed a couple times. Definitely trying to confuse me and make me work.

Yeah I’d let him wait awhile, if it’s lethal he will die.

Give it lots of time. I hope you have better luck than me. I one-lunged my buck last year. It took 30 hours for him to die. I got him but it was a miserable time. Good luck and be patient!

Blood clotted up and lost trail. Never bedded down once. All neighbors that hunt are notified and if anyone finds him they know he's mine. Trailed him for probably a solid 3/4 of a mile with decent blood but no beds. Blood turned to clots then ran out. I'm hoping he makes, you never know with these big boys. Sorry guys. With the way that trail was thought for sure I had him.

Oh, we aren't. Just had to stop for now. Going to hunt in morning then looking again after that. But it's suppose to rain a good bit overnight. It's pretty thick where we lost blood so we are going to do circle sweeps and grid searches tomorrow. Unfortunately life calls and we had to stop today. One thing is my arrow barely had any blood on it at all. So how can they bleed that much and barely any on arrow. When he ran off he was kind if holding that right front leg up a bit. This happened to me about 15 years ago on a big one. Had good blood a long ways. Saw that buck a week later and he looked healthy and strong.
