Good luck guys hope you'll kill Higgins. I am getting my ass handed to me this year. I can find the deer. Last year there was only 2 or 3 sites out of the whole year that I didnt see any deer. This your i cant find em. Usually i have a doe down by mind October frustration is at its highest.

The guy from Magnum P.I.? Why would we kill him

Sounds like a rough start for certain, hopefully things change up for you with the rut turning on.

This is the first year I have not hunted during the month of October. Going to be weird going in knowing anything can happen on my first sit. Usually don't see antlers until late October so decided to give work October and I am taking November.

sorry guys all good news just been at my grandparents getting her cleaned up. She came in by herself this morning and gave me a 25 yard quartering away shot. Shot was good only went maybe 50 yards. Not the biggest doe but will eat good and is good way to start off my season.

Too late to get two with the bow in it? Don't think they will count without.

If you plan on shooting another you can use it instead. It's only bucks that the first one has to be used.

I'm thinking about getting a TN. tag and chasing another buck. Seen a real nice buck on and just off some public land I roll by down that way. It's only about an hour and a half from the house also, which isn't to bad.

Late season, if I decide to do it. Will need to run my camera's to make sure he's still alive and huntable before I drop the money on an out of state tag.

If I had half your knowledge lol.

See a buck from the road in another state and contemplate whether to buy a tag and kill him. Best part is, I have no doubt in my mind you could do it.

Your knack for targeting deer and learning their social habits is uncanny. Screw the book, take it straight to a DVD series
