Wassup guys? Sorry about not replying in awhile but have a lot going on. Still hitting the woods but have not had any luck as of yet. Seeing lots of small not legal bucks and did have a buck that was legal and would have killled had he given me a chance but just didn’t quite work out. Today was a complete washout in LANCASTER but will hit it next week again. I really wish pa would allow Sunday hunting. It would add around 30-40 hours of stand time for me in a season which is huge.Hoping to get out 3 evenings next week after work because after daylight savings it will be a lot more difficult. I am really feeling the pressure now because generally I have filled a couple tags by this point in the season. 2 weeks left and hopefully I can get something down. Good luck to all !!! Put up a new stand this morning for my son for shotgun season next month. Saw some good sign. I'm going to brave the wind and hunt this evening.
Hey guys just checking in. November is finally here. I wish I was on stand but I won’t intentionally put my self in a position where I can’t recover a deer. In this case due to all the rain. Hung a couple new sets on the back side of the property yesterday. They are near some bedding cover that the bucks run during the rut. It will definitely give me more options without having to go into the sanctuary. I think I might pull a few cards today too. Hopefully I have a few more bucks around. I haven’t had many around yet. Yeah lots of rain here too. I'm going down to Alabama in morning for visitation with my daughter. Planning on putting stand time in next week. I'm itching to get back out. Haven't pulled cards since the 1st. Buddy's been saying bucks are really chasing hard now. A monster was killed about a hour north of me. Off work all next week unless **** hits the fan. Sounds Good Josh. Enjoy your time with your daughter. I hate that mine is an hour away, I can't imagine her being in a different state. I have to work next Monday but after that I'm off for eight days. Hopefully the weather cooperates. This weather is killing me. I'd rather be at work than be rained out of a hunt.
I went out hunting Thursday night and ended rattling in 2 bucks. One wouldn’t come out from behind the brush and the other one came in just after dark. I’ll be headed out tonight after work and hopefully I can get either a little buck for my mom or one for myself! With this cold front that just came in the deer should be moving a lot! Yeah ride sucks, but at least get to spend time with her before she gets too old to hang out with me. Been living in Indiana since 08 and making trip since then. Now that she's older and I have to boys here with me I try to trade weekends to get 4 day weekend when I can. She's out of school whole thanksgiving week so I will bring her back up here to see all the family. She's already asking to go out hunting with me when she comes up. She can't shoot this year though had back surgery in August, so she's kinda bummed about that Roll Tide Roll
Nice man, I've only called 1 in so far. It was pretty awesome. I'm still a newbie to hunting. I hunted when was a teenager but never cared for it too much, but I lived on the water fishing. This is my 4 year really hunting. It started out to just fill the freezer, then got addicted to it. Got my bow last year and loved the rush. Just keep at it. Good luck man Roll Tide Roll

Sounds like everyone is putting time in. Eventually something will go down. I was out this evening and had a small buck” not legal” and a button buck under my tree licking some tinks gel I sprayed on a Bush. I also had approximately 100 turkeys all around me but all stayed just out of range which sucks because in LANCASTER county there is only a 3 day fall season which ended today. I thought for sure with that many birds at least one would give me an opportunity. Tomorrow is supposed to be a washout but Saturday I’m planning on spending all day on stand. My time is running out. Getting very anxious!! Seeing deer but no opportunities as of yet. Next week I’m feeling like I’m going to take any buck that is legal and gives me a chance. Even yearling does are going to get it. This little **** has no idea how close he came to getting an arrow ran through him. 6 hrs in a downpour had him looking like a booner lol. I'm dryingmy gear and going in the morning.
