    I don't think I've worked a Nov 7 in at least a decade. My boss knows better. Unfortunately it's a Wednesday this year so it's making me burn a minimum of 3 days of leave. Stupid calendar.

    Well that's a bag of suck, just had a decent buck come in downwind of me blow, stomp and crash off through the woods. The wind died out and I am guessing my scent drifted where I didn't want it. Nothing to do now but wait for dark and slip out.

    I use Winchester partition gold slugs and have never had a problem. They shoot consistent and do devastating damage. I still only shoot out to 75 yards with them though. And I use a rifled slug barrel.

    Wow! What an exciting sit! 5 does and 3 nubbins came into the plot! They were calling, fighting, running around ! Water hole was definitely the key this year!
