Or as my dad would say, "Are you looking for a fresh coat of paint? Bc I am about to paint your back porch red."

About to go out for an evening sit. Got to the land and farmer was about to pick beans on the upper fields. So I will go down below since I doubt he will get to those in the next 3 hours. Beautiful day. Got a good feeling.

I like this app but have also started using drury deercast. Confusing part is the 2 have been opposite so far as good vs poor days!

On stand again tonight. I have managed to pick the spots deer haven't been this year. Nothing again last night but I'm pretty sure someone was tearing up a sapling above me. Tonight I'm back at a whitetail institute clover/chicory mix plot. 50yrds x 70 yards. Camera says they have been here every night just before or after dark. I'm away from most activity and the wind is somewhat cooperative. Checked 4 cameras and #1 was on his feet 100 yrds from here. 2 hrs of daylight left. Good luck! 1540328495513.jpeg 1540328517914.jpeg

I'm finally in a tree and all set up again. As I said before, this time I am set up on my own property in Missouri.

I haven't had a chance to scout it yet so I just set up on the downwind side of a clearing that used to be a food plot.

I'm only about 10 yards from my property line and while the cover is thick I have a pretty good view.

This sit is really just a reconnaissance mission. I just want to observe any movement. I don't plan on launching an arrow unless a really good buck walks by.

a few years ago my wife wanted to see what it was about hunting that I get obsessed about. she learned to shoot a bow, took the hunter safety course, and even sat out with me on two hunts in a tree. It was late september and 50 degrees.....she was frozen solid...LOL! I even had her wear my good thermals. That was the end of that. She no longer has any desire to hunt.

Perfect wind tomorrow and drop from 60 to 34 overnight. Same conditions as when I saw 16 deer so hopefully the shooter reads the script

I grew up with a old family friend that could out shoot and out hunt everyone I knew. She had s custom recurve her husband built her and was by far the best shot I have ever known.
