    Couple squirrels this morning was all the action for me, a new ground scrape did show up though. That was promising. I’ll try that spot again over the weekend.

    I had a cool encounter last night. Saw 3 doe but they were about 10 yards farther than I wanted to shoot. I climbed down and the neighbor sees a coyote in the field. I say I'll stay where I'm at, take a shot. He takes shot from his driveway and misses with his .17. Oh well, well at that same time, a nice tall 8 point steps into the field. I get into a low spot of the field and stalk to the back of the field and, bam, I'm 20 yards from this buck. The stinking wind that was hiding my movement completely died out, I go to take a shot and some leaves and my movement got me busted.
    Almost had a nice buck from the ground. Very cool experience, only the second time I've ever been able to stalk that close to a buck.

    Actually she dropped in her tracks. I had to scramble down and finish her off.

    This is a huge doe for these parts.

    Ha thats where guy put drain in 2 and half inches lower than floor. Its a amish house and apparently this is going to be the wash room. He didn't wanna sweep water to drain so now he has 2 inches of fall in 3 ft goin to drain.
