Congrats on the successes guys, great stuff!

Seeing as these deer dropping is killing me. I have to work Saturday, then I hope to take an extended weekend of tree therapy.
I love that we’re so busy at work, but it’s really hurting my hunting time!:bigcry:

Same way here. Busy enough for 6 days a week, schedule is 4 10's Mon-Thurs. Friday and Saturday are OT days.

I generally don't hunt days when I have to work the next day due to potential of a bad shot.

Been a few mornings since the heat subsided that I wish I was out there, but 18 more days I'll have 10 days off.

Just dropped 62 pounds of ground off Friday to be made into snack sticks, brats, italian sausage and bacon. So a bitn of overtime will help out.

Won't be long before things get really active on here.

It's nice to hear someone say this. Or, even if it's a good shot, but it gets dark on you, and you would be better off looking the next morning. I hear some guys say they had to get to work, and the trailing gets put on the back burner. Recovery of your deer should be the most important aspect of the hunt.

Haven't deer hunted yet but my season is off to a good start. Got this hog friday at 12 yards on a spot and stalk (more like 2 blown stalks and one lucky ambush). Double lung amd dropped in sight within 30 yards. DSC02476.jpeg

Damn, Fitz never made us take one for a doe entry. Brad is pretty strict on running the contest

He’s 10. His first deer ever. He’s very stoked. Adrenaline rush being so close to them and on the ground with them.
