Eh I've got 5 out of 8, if you substitute Honda for Polaris side by side, for no other reason then I work for my money so I'll spend it on what I want. Don't really get concerned with what everyone else thinks, have my own reasons for buying everything own. The stuff maybe more expensive but I get my money worth out of it. What's even more funny when I load up to go hunting all the gear is worht 3 times what the truck its sitting in cost.

I always thought the top status symbol for a hunter was owning land.

Hell, if you can afford it and like it buy it. I think the main thing is the reason your buying it. If it’s only to make others have a certain view of yourself than it’s the wrong reason. If it’s because it fills a need than have it.

I shoot a 10 year old Parker and wear a missmatch of tiger stripe bdu's and whatever mossy oak was on sale. I do have a yeti but so does every soccer mom in my neighborhood.

As an elitist a-hole that owns the land I hunt on and scout pretty much every day I am home I have to agree with you. I hunt alone nobody to show off to don't wear camo outside of on the stand nobody would know I hunt unless I am a friend.

My truck has all these stickers and more. Do I actually own any of them?

Catch me outside, how 'bout that?

I do have to admit, I have a Ranger but it's 10 years old. Bought it used. It has a funky cab-looks homemade. LOL

It sure ain't no status symbol.

I accidentally fit this bill to a T....

Have a brand new Ranger (bought to feed cows)
    Own the land I hunt
Have a Yeti (bought for $50 at a wholesale discounting store before they were a thing)
    Shoot a Hoyt (2013 Charger)

….never killed a deer with a bow! Guess I really am a poser. Or I work too much to put all my tools together for success...

IMO the article is like most that Bowhunting.com Staff post. It's just an advertisement for sponsors. I quit reading them.
