For the last 20 or so years I have wore Red Wing 4414 lace up work boots. Loved this boot but they discontinued them although they were they most popular boot. Even the Employees selling the boot have no idea why they did it. STUPID !!!!! I can't wear their other lace up boots. Just no support and they slop out fast. The old knees and back can't take it. I put a lot of miles on with them as I wear them everyday. I have finally wore out my last pair of 4414 and need to find a new work boot. So what is everyone wearing ?? For a good work boot I will spend up to $300 for a pair. Thanks !!
I climb trees for a living and wear the Georgia boot, which is similar to the Carolina boot.. It's insulated with a steel toe and good support. They are pretty warm too. Cost around $260.
I wear these around the farm. Just so happened that I ordered a pair Monday and had the link handy. Super comfy, last for a long time and this will be my fourth pair. https://www.carolinashoe.com/CA8531
I wore Carolinas for about 15 years. A buddy said, try the Georgia boot, been wearing them since. They actually out last the Carolinas.
Wear thorogood for work, they're kinda cashy but best boots I've had. On my 3rd pair and none have needed any sort of break in. Friend work for has good luck with wolverine boots but I've never owned any. I pour concrete so they usually last the year or little more for work but concrete is pretty hard on any leather boots. https://www.thorogoodusa.com/product/804-4203/ Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I've been wearing the Red Wing 2412 for well over 20 years now. I hope they don't discontinue it, it's the most comfortable and durable boot I've ever worn.
Carolina's for me. I've tried a ton of boots. Milk is very hard on boots and so far these Carolina's have been doing alright.
