    Don’t let rain keep you guys out of the woods, recipe for stalking and even still good for stand sits. I killed a 120” a few years ago in the rain. About froze to death but ended up being worth it

    I tried heading to my stand in the wind and rain last year and got busted by a big buck coming threw the crp field. So light rain light snow. I’m out there

    Good luck to every hunting ! Raining steady here in VA. Cammies are in the washer, getting prepped for another MD hunt Saturday morning if I can swing it with the boss lady. This time on private land.

    Gonna get showered up and head to the stand I think. Gotta say the wind isn't great for my stands. Only one it's good for is one I don't like to go into until the end of October. Think I might sit over the bean field and take my chances. Winds at like 15mph so I'm hoping that helps.

    I'm on stand, lots of rain right now. But I'm going to stick it out. The deer will have to be right on top of me before I see or hear them.

    Great conditions for opening day here in NY. Standing corn in the field behind me and quite a few apples on the ground all around. The first big doe or decent buck I see might be in trouble. We don't usually see a ton of deer in the early season, but we're out here.

    In the stand. Dressed too warm and am sweating like a pig. Took off my jacket and outer layer and am gunna sit in my thin base layer for a while.

    Alright...I am all set up and on stand. I am ready for a doe to step out since it is "doe before buck" here on Little Rock AFB. This is my first sit of the year. I have high hopes for this hunt. It is the last cool day before temperatures get hotter for the rest of the week. Plus it's been raining most the day and stopped a couple hours ago. It is nice and quiet in here. Didn't spook anything on my way in :) Here goes!!!!
