    I agree about the acorns. Very bad year in my slice of SE Pa. Even many of the red oaks haven't dropped anything this season. I'm thinking all of the rain we had here since the summer is probably part of the reason?

    LOL! I understand your concern, and given my history for the past couple years I questioned my decision as well! This year is different this year I really have things figured out here. I’m back in my car and heading home. I’ll be heading out again tomorrow afternoon or Saturday!

    Honestly, another reason why I passed on the doe, is because the fawns were very small, you could tell they must have dropped late. They look like little dogs with long legs LOL! Just Not my thing, to each their own though.

    I’m in the stand. First deer hunt of the year. Saw a spike on the way in. 4.5 hr sit. Will hopefully be a good one.
