Good to know; I haven't been up in over a month so didn't know how bad they had been lately. Even if it does cool down I'll make sure to pack plenty of fuel and wafers for the thermocell next weekend

I sat last weekend out as well. Mid 80's and with the recent flooding/rain we've had in our area the mosquiteos are some of the worst i've ever seen. Went and checked cameras sunday afternoon and I could just hear a constant buzzing noise around me. Taking Friday afternoon off though to have a go at it.

Anyone out in Wisconsin having any luck seeing deer? Thinking about heading to Western WI from school down in Iowa next weekend to get up in a tree. Appreciate the help!

Question for all you Wisconsin hunters. My role at work has expanded and requires me to travel to Sparta, WI for a week every month. Tuesday was actually the start of my first trip up here. With that said, is it worth getting the first time Wisconsin license and what public land is in the area? Thanks in advance.

Fort McCoy has lots of public hunting grounds. I have a friend whom hunts the North side of it.....has had lots of success. I believe you need to get a permit form the Fort to hunt their land.
