    Back in for my 2nd hunt of the season, already seen a doe and two fawns before shooting light. 71 degrees right now with 100% humidity. Got to love NC early season.

    I wore two and it's not bad except for the fact that I had to wade through wet weeds up to my belt for a way. I'm soaked from the thighs down

    I saw three bucks way out in the field at first light but nothing since.

    In the stand for the first time this year. In VT overlooking some corn. No deer hunting here until October, but I’m looking for bear! They have been hammering the corn here.

    I watched a squirrel pick up an old deer bone, carry it up a tree about 10 yards away, park his butt on a limb and start gnawing on it. He will stop occasionally and stare at me.

    That is a really annoying sound.
