I also hunt in East TX, over at Zavalla and at Big Thicket in Saratoga. I think the density of the forest around here makes it prime bowhunting terrain.
Welcome and get at it. I spent some time in East Texas what does not have thorns or burrs on it is poisonous and wants to bite you. Gators and pigs snakes and ants. Did space shuttle recovery and the fires of 2005 in East Texas good times.
