I decided to switch it up and go with a platform stand and sticks. I want a big platform and I want it built like a tank, weight is not an issue. I don't care what the cost is I don't buy cheap crap.

If size, weight, and cost are not being considered, for me it would be a millennium m150 monster, hands-down without question.

I am thinking of doing the same(hang on/sticks). I have been looking at the xop maximum. I also like the millennium 150. My question to the guys who have used it is does the 150 have any adjustments for leaning trees like the xop or loan wolfs.
Love the Hawk Helium Pro. Nice big platform. No metal on metal contact. Bushing are installed around bolts that touch the metal. You can sit in the seat for long period too.

I have to be honest. I'm a LW fan/owner, but when I hunted in Ohio last season, I hunted from a Millennium stand and loved it! Very comfortable, with plenty of room.
I believe the M150 does adjust for lean...my M-7 microlite does. when one of these damn companies decides to make a cast aluminum platform with a Millenium-style seat that weighs under 15#and charge $300 for it....I'm going to be broke. Also, Millennium's cam-lock hang system is awesome...although their website doesn't say if the Monster is compatible I don't see why it wouldn't be. Their cheaper ones are. I know the OP said that weight is not a concern but be advised- it weighs more than advertised. I returned a M-100U because it was about 4# more than advertised. Might not sound like a lot but when you hike a mile+ to do a hang and hunt with sticks I was like....meh, no thanks. The M-7 is about 2# more but still only just over 10. me too. I have LW, XOP, and a Millenium. A Muddy floating around as well...as well as several cheapies and ladders. I'm just not a huge fan of the pedestal-style seats on the LW.XOP/Muddy hang ons. My LW and XOP are climbers and perfect for what they are. I just much prefer the mesh seats.

I thought you only hunted from banana-hammocks ? yeah; but then you gotta buy 2 stands to make into one. Although as many GD stands as I have hanging in my garage, shed, attic, camper, and shipping container on the private property I hunt; I could probably cut my inventory in half and have all stands that I actually like! One of these days when I finish my basement, boat project, and re-model my bathrooms I'll have time
Haha yes I'm still hunting from a saddle. If your starting from scratch, then yes it would cost alot to buy two stands. I aways seem to have a few laying around to work with. I am removing a ladder that was at 21' it is on my private property so weight does not matter. The thing I want is the largest platform that is solid I hate heights I want it to be solid when I climb up.
I am going to be mounting the stand in an old white oak that is at the fork over 36" wide I won't set a stand that is narrower than my profile worst sin to commit is the ability to be profiled, the tree has to be wider than my body at the height the stand is set.
Yikes. My high school geometry tells me that's about 9.5' diameter. That's a helluva tree. You're probably going to have to mod the attachment chain/cables.
The trunk forks about 20' up so it is real wide, thanks for the heads up an the mounting I may be stuck with a ladder stand.
