Dashua that picture came out great! I typically hunt in my climber around 20ft or so and my ladder stands are all at 15 I believe. I have been using a Muddy hang on and sticks and I find it to be my favorite style set up for mobility with the exception that it only gets me probably 14ft. I wish there was a way to get a single stick because they only come in a 3 pack and all the other brands like LW and XOP all come in 4 packs so you can get up a bit more Sent from my SM-N950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Sorry for not being around much lately. There always seems to be a lot going on this time of year. I spend a lot of time filling the freezer with perch from Lake Erie in August and September. I shot the best buck of my life last November (see pic). I got the mount back in April.
Nice work to all who got captain picked and team name chosen! Working double duty with jobs and coaching has time hard to come by. Tackle is listed in my signature. I rock Lone Wolf/sticks in mobil sets and have phased in many River's Edge ladder stands in more fixed locations. I love my Sitka, Vortex optics, and La Crosse boots. Experimenting with some different cameras this year. Slipped out last weekend and prepped one last property. had the Wicked Pole saw out for some minimal trimming which was needed since touching up in spring. 11 stands ready to rock. Plots look great as well as their shaping of entry/exits. Could use some rain though! I am only hunting WI this year and less properties than ever with 3 (change of pace). Scouting has prompted a number shooter bucks around my properties, but time will tell if they end up on camera/stay or move off when acorns drop/velvet flies. I've been a part of the contest for a number of years now. I have been fortunate enough to contribute many nice bucks to the best team in Bowhunting.com Contest history (back to back champs followed by a runner up year). Hoping to get back on that track!
Top three? I want first place!!! Probably sent from a tree with my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Local sporting goods store had a big sale last night. Picked up a few more stealth cams for a steal. Hopefully I'm able to get them placed on the lease tomorrow.
Should be getting a couple alternates any day now to give us 12 peeps. Tomorrow morning pulling cards so stand by for rack photos Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Going into the woods today after work to put a lifeline in and hang a camera. Actually hung this stand because Google Earth shows when everything else dies off, this small patch stays green which to me could mean bedding. When I hung the stand I actually realized it overlooks a small wild blueberry patch so hopefully this pays off! Last time I was in there I laid some corn for pictures and put in a mock scrape 20 yards from the stand with Code Blue Rack Rub and Code Blue Buck Urine but forgot to put up the camera. Lets hope it pays off! Sent from my SM-N950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
