black rack is....meh. I don't think it sounds very realistic at all. I have yet to get a buck to come in to it; although I don't have much luck rattling with anything so maybe it's me.

It is also a PITA to pack.

I only use the Extinguisher! All my other calls are in the garbage. It sounds the most realistic to a deer. It does what it says no doubt! On October 29th 3 years ago, I Called in a 135 8pt from 90 yards out. Hit him with a contact grunt. Then another. He stopped and then kept walking. Hit the doe bleat. Thing whipped around and came in on a rope. Shot at 13 yards. Unfortunately he ducked the arrow and hit him high. 2 weeks later saw him chasing doe on camera with a nasty limp. Never saw him in the daylight again. Still alive today with a nasty Scar. Then 2 years ago I got my doe with a fawn in distress call a few times. Got her running in from 100 yards to 20 dropped dead 5 steps later! It works!

The extinguisher is the only grunt tube I've had success with. Had a couple flextones but they never worked for me. To be fair though I was a complete newbie when I was using the flextone.

I have the Extinguisher call and I like it a lot. Easy to use. The slide is awesome. I have a doe bleat can and I can almost mimic the sound it makes using this call.

The extinguisher is OK but if you want a quality grunt call check out Woodhaven Custom Calls. I've been using these call for a few years now after my Turkey hunting buddies always raved about their turkey calls. Kind of expensive but top notch quality! I love their rattle bag system to.

I have the same combo, it is handy to throw it all in the backpack w/ no noise. I do feel like the call is a bit soft, but more over I think the lowest buck position is still higher pitched than my other call. Not sure if that is a good thing or not, just figured it would be a lower pitch.
