buck I have had my eyes set on since last summer. this is one of the last videos I have of him in the last few weeks with a lot of growth to go. hoping next card pull he drifts back onto the property. Two others I have laid my own eyes on this summer same caliber but haven't gotten on camera yet. Few other small 60-70" bucks running all over as well that frequent the cameras. Bear season opens up Sept 1 and have a few decent size bear roaming day light around as well I hope to stick with a Ramcat.

That one is on the property somewhere in Ohio. Might be long gone by time I get there

    Agreed.

I don't post too many pic's of deer. I have some on camera that are really nice but I'd like to let go another year or 2. That all depends on the neighbors. I'm picky by my own choosing. I'm also fortunate to live in a part of the country that has big deer in it. Everyone should shoot what makes them happy and not worry about what everyone thinks. Be proud of it!! The trophy is in the eye of the beholder.

    ok. I'm done preaching.

That’s a dandy for sure. That would make a nice mount.

Nice picks guys! Ash, that guy above is WIDE.

I found out this morning that I successfully drew a park hunt this season. It's a limited entry thing and we get 2 weekends to hunt it as a depredation type thing. Should be a good time! Hoping to draw into a few more of these more exclusive type things this year.

I've sent a message to the 3 teammates that have yet to respond. Hope we hear from them soon!! If anyone knows them, throw 'em a line.

Has everybody been practicing? I haven’t shot at all this year. Any time I’ve had I’ve been working on stands? The weather as far as I’m concerned has sucked to do anything outside. Either it’s crazy hot, super humid or it’s downpours. Im like a summertime shut in. Maybe I should post on the rant thread.

been shooting a lot this summer actually. been going to a new course I just discovered not to far from here and with buddies at the house. Try to get in at least 2 solid sessions a week in. With bear season opening up in two weeks I've been trying to get out every evening and just shooting 2/3 times from a varying distance and calling it good. Already shot a broadhead so you could say I am ready to go. Hah
Just got another two sets in today on a property I hunt as well, little trimming and they'll be good to go! Hiked all the way out and realized the pole saw was forgotten, it's always something.

I got a new bow this year and have made an effort to shoot around 15 arrows a night throughout the summer as well as a few 3D events. I'm just about to the point of switching to broadheads and just shooting a few at varying distances.

Going to trim up a new entrance way to a stand tomorrow morning. Working second shift has some perks that’s if I can get up.

Woodchuck Cidar is about 50miles/an hour north from my home. Gorgeous up there that's for sure, I don't know what way you're taking but rt 7 is a nice ride up
