Hey guys, just saw the team list and glad to see a few familiar names out there. I will start us off this year with a little information about myself. My name is Brad and I’m 26. I’m from Erie, Pa and have been hunting for about 10 years total, 6 with the bow. Last year was my first venture in the contest and had a rough year due to losing my main plot of private land 2 weeks before the season. I will be hunting solely public land this year and have a few nice bucks on camera in my first scouting location. I look forward to hearing from your adventures this year!

Hey guys my name is Derrick. I've been bowhunting for about 15 years. I'm down in GA and hunt a mix of public and private land. Usually good for a doe, but these bucks are tough to get. We've got an extremely long firearms season so they get a lot of pressure. This season I'm going strictly with a traditional bow. I usually switch back and forth between my recurve and compound but not this season. Been shooting every day and got a real good session in this afternoon. Looking forward to see how everyone's season goes and what gets put down. Got a few I'm after this season, but I've only seen one this summer. Seen him while glassing one of my private spots. He's not much for scoring, but he got lucky last season while I had my recurve with me. He was checking a scrape on the field edge, and when I went to draw he stepped into the woods. The trail camera pics are from last season.

Hey y'all I'm Nolan from St. Thomas, Missouri. Hunt over 400 acres in the family all in walking distance and have another 900 within 2 hours also family I can hunt. Been hunting since I was 6 and bowhunting for 5 years now. Had an awesome year last year with a 144 8 pointer and a 125 8 also. Have seen 1 buck over 140 this year and 3 around 130 in after. My uncle lives about a mile away across the river bottom and has seen a 160 in our bottoms that never get hunted but that may change this year! Hoping for another good year!

What's up fella's! Looking forward to talk about hunting with you this season. I live and hunt on my 40 acres in NW Missouri. I have access to a few other pieces of land and will occasionally hunt a little bit of public land I have in the area. I didn't release an arrow last year, I was targeting one specific buck that I never caught up with. Previous to last year, I was on a pretty good role, killing a buck in each of the previous 6 seasons. No giants, but the last 3 grossed around 150" each. All but one were taken off my 40 acres.
As of right now, I don't have any target bucks to brag about. I've got a couple cameras out and I'm not seeing any buck movement on my place. That's become the norm though, I don't get nervous until October. I'm just hoping we haven't been hit w. EHD, we've been in a major drought.
I'll have a little more vacation to use than normal this year, so I'm hoping for a bounce back season. I typically don't shoot does, but I plan on taking one or two this year.

I actually got some decent bucks nothing huge on one of the properties I'll be hunting on. I'll also be self filming my deer hunts for the first time this year. 20180729_191000.jpg Screenshot_20180814-193054_Instagram.jpg

It is only problem it's heavly hunted the land owner has let 10 people deer hunt on 130 acres. I hope they stick around and nobody else shows up this year.

I'm real nervous that we could have another year of EHD. I haven't heard any reports, but it has been the driest I can remember. The crops are in terrible shape, so much so that they have already started combining the corn. I'm assuming so they can get some wheat in the ground to re-coop their losses. Some of the ponds have completely dried up and my creek is bone dry except for the pools.

We finally got some rain yesterday, and it was perfectly timed for my freshly planted fall plot. I planted a little over 2 acres of Biologic Green Patch Plus on Sunday, so it should get a good start with the rain we did get.

Same here. It's been very, very dry. It's actually lightly sprinkling now for me. Driest it's been in a few years for sure. We haven't started combining yet, but I can definitely see them starting early and getting something else in the ground. Saw my target buck again last night!

Here's my three favorite bucks I've taken. All three came off my 40 acres and were the dominate buck that year. Let's see you favorite deer harvest pics.
