Wooooo!! I didn’t think the teams would be posted today. I’m Greg from Monroe County Indiana. October 1st can’t get here soon enough. I’m dabbling in some public land this year and have permission on about 300 acres of private to hunt 40 of which is in my backyard.

I am Bob from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I hunt a 70 acre property I have been managing for about ten years now. I have a couple of big bucks this year and am hoping for that 300" year.

Hey guys, Matt from Nebraska. I hunt 2 properties primarily and have permission on a couple others. Just moved from Lincoln to a acreage this spring so I'm hoping to hunt some on my own property as well. My spots are just starting to recover from a hard hit of EHD a few years ago. It's been pretty rough hunting the last few years but last year gives me hope that this year we should have some numbers again. Looking forward to sharing the season with you guys. It should be fun!

I’m after a few 4 1/2 + year olds. I have sheds from two of them. Late season usually brings some different bucks around. The first two bucks, this is the third year I’ve had pics of them. The third is a monster bodied old one with a unicorn point that comes straight out of his head. I found a dead head with a hole in the top of the skull last spring, so....here they are [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Some other random bucks from late last season

So I have decent bucks to hunt, it’s all up to me

Checking in boys.... excited to be on the Team and get to know you all. Steve here from Western Ky.

I own about 30 acres that I live on in a good general area but there’s enough commotion around with neighbors that it’s pretty tough sledding to try and keep any big deer around when season comes in. I’ll have pics of a few good ones every Summer but they are usually too scarce to count on during season. I killed a 140” 8 behind my house in 2010 but nothing since then has been regular enough to hunt here. I have (or am part of) 5 leases in 5 different counties across the South Central part of the state totaling about 1,750 acres. A couple of these farms are fairly elite properties. I’ll post up some pics in the team thread at some point but I may not leave the pics up permanently. In general I am hunting bucks that I believe to be 4.5 and older and I’m typically looking for deer over 140” although there are some deer that would fall short of that that I will shoot due to their advanced age, character, etc.

Biggest drawback of me as a teammate here is that I struggle to find time to hunt as much as I’d like. Hopefully life will go favorably for me this season and allow me to get in the woods a good bit.

Looking forward to it... let’s get this thing going.

After all... how can we go wrong with Boonerville on our team?!

I'm Jordan. I live in Southern Iowa. I am pretty much a deer obsessed wierdo. My season this year will be epic or a bust, by my own choosing. I have a couple really special deer I am after, and it's them or nothing. Hopefully I can catch up to one of them. Excited to get to know all of you that I don't already.

Hey, my name is Brandon from Illinois. I enjoy long walks in the woods, bloodtrailing, and cozying up to a toasty fireplace on a rainy day with my latest issue of North American Whitetail. If you enjoy the same interests and think we might make good teammates then just answer this personal add and hopefully we hit it off if you know what I mean ;)

I haven’t checked most of my main cameras and didn’t have time to put that many out this year but hopefully I’ll have more to post.
I sure do. But only if their Booners. (Pun intended Boonerville) ... I think this is going to be a good year.

When you call yourself Boonerville on a bowhunting forum... you eat pressure like it’s a glazed doughnut.

In all seriousness...it takes a team to win. If everyone on a team shoots at least a doe we will likely be in the top 10. The winning teams historically haven't killed a lot of huge deer, but they get contributions form everyone on the team,

Very true Jordan. I’ve never been on a winning team but a couple of my teams did well and held rank in the top 5 by shooting a handful of 100-130” bucks and a bunch of does. I just hope everyone has fun that’s what makes this contest so cool. People having a blast and sharing their season
