So guys when’s everyone’s season start? What are your plans for the season? Here in Illinois it’s October 1 but the only way I’ll go out that early is if I have a good buck on a schedule(which I never have before lol) I usually wait till the first cold front with maybe a random hunt mixed in from impatience. I will have 2 acres of standing beans this year so I won’t shoot a doe till after shotgun seasons most likely. I am also just starting a house search and hoping to land a place with a little acreage that’s huntable so if that happens things might change. Possible I could be moving during season though which would suck. I’m banking on those beans being a draw late season because there is usually limited food in that area by December or even January. September 1st here in Kentucky I always love the early season most of the bucks I have harvested have been early in the season. Hoping to have a great season and put some points on the board for our team. I have a couple of shooters I'm watching in there early season pattern hopefully I can put one down early. I can only hunt the first 3 days of season then I'm on 7-12s until October.

I did my first card pull after spraying and planting my small plots and really not much to speak of yet, but I'll share. Wisconsin season starts in one month on 9-15-2018.
