Anyone who runs cams has had it happened. A ghost you get on camera just a time or 2 a year. This is my ghost... 1 picture on July 10.

5BD2A95E-64A5-46AE-869C-554D424161ED.jpeg Yep - Had it happen last year with this guy. Got one picture in July and that was it. He’s a river bottom deer and I figure he lives across the river most of the time.

Mine is the one with the big club drop tine. I usually get a series of pics of him and his buddy sometime in August every year. I can't find the more recent ones. Last year I had him on a camera three miles south of this one on some of my rental property.

I get one good pic of a velvet buck almost every season, then I never see him again. I always thought a velvet buck was pretty much a local deer, but since I don't see him again, or get other pics of him, it makes me think differently. This year's example is this buck, which I already posted pics of.

I set my cam out for 3 weeks and got this guy, then let the cam sit for another 2 weeks before checking it and I haven't seen him again. That messes with my head. I do realize he might still be in the area and just didn't walk in front of my cam?

I was expecting pictures of actual ghosts like the Casper kind.

    Never mind. I’ll leave now

This is a deer I only caught pictures of once, I called him Keyser Soze. A reference to one of my favorite movies The Usual Suspects.
